Delicious and Filling Smoothie Bowls

Stopped here after hearing good things from the locals and it did not disappoint! My partner had the smoothie bowl and it was delicious and very filling! I had the Slow cooked pork belly Adobo with rice. It was probably the tastiest meal I’ve had in Bali so far. Staff were friendly as ever and the coffee was great too.

Description

Positioned in the serene surroundings of Nyuh Kuning, this cafe offers a delightful escape for those seeking a blend of aesthetic beauty and culinary creativity. With an inviting ambiance and friendly staff, it has become a popular spot for locals and travelers alike. The menu features an array of beautifully crafted smoothie bowls that are as delicious as they are visually appealing. Many visitors rave about the vibrant colors and artistic presentations of the bowls, which make them perfect for Instagram-worthy snapshots. The peanut butter and blueberry smoothie bowl is particularly recommended for those looking to indulge in a healthy yet decadent treat.

While the cafe is known for its signature smoothie bowls, guests also enjoy a variety of other dishes, including the fresh quinoa haloumi salad and homemade gelato from the adjacent gelato shop. The emphasis on utilizing high-quality ingredients ensures that every dish bursts with flavor. Many patrons were pleasantly surprised by how filling the bowls are, often leaving them with enough to take home. Though one common suggestion is the need for a smaller portion size to reduce food waste, the generous servings greatly contribute to the cafe’s appeal.

Visitors appreciate the comfort and stylishness of the venue, and its location makes it a convenient stop before or after visiting the nearby Monkey Forest. The cafe provides a relaxing atmosphere that allows guests to enjoy their food leisurely, whether they are catching up with friends or working on their laptops. However, some reviews suggest that service speed could improve, as certain patrons experienced delays. On the whole, the friendly and attentive staff help create a welcoming atmosphere that compensates for any minor inconveniences.

For those visiting Bali, this cafe is more than just a place to grab a bite; it’s an experience. Whether you seek a refreshing smoothie bowl or some delicious gelato, this cafe promises to be a delightful stop. With its beautiful decor and culinary offerings, it serves as an ideal sanctuary for food lovers and anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful moment amid the hustle and bustle of travel.

Highlights

  • Impressive Array of Smoothie Bowls: I visited for breakfast specifically to try their smoothie bowls. The array of options is impressive, and the decor is beautifully done. While the bowl prices lean slightly higher than other spots, the portions are generous. Opting for the peanut butter bowl, I found it a tad too sweet for my liking. Perhaps it might be more fitting to share, possibly as a dessert, as the portion size could easily satisfy two people.
  • Prettiest Smoothie Bowls: Prettiest smoothie bowls 😍🥰 & delicious! Coconut cream is only one color, so if you want your bowl colorful, pick regular yogurt 😁
  • Yummy Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowl: Beautiful and yummy peanut butter smoothie bowl! It was a big portion and so filling that I couldn’t finish it even though I really tried cause it tasted so nice. You get to choose between dairy yogurt and coconut cream for the topping so it is vegan friendly on request. Matcha latte on oat milk was good too!
  • Best Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowl in Ubud: Best Peanut butter smoothie bowl in Ubud 🔥 It costs 88k, including the 11% tax. We also liked Choco smoothie bowl for 80k and Blueberry pancake smoothie bowl for 86k. 😍 The beetroot smoothie bowl is good for health food lovers but is quite strange and beetrooty, but that’s to be expected. 😁 They offer a vegetarian option with coconut cream or regular one with yogurt for all the smoothie bowls. 🥥 The coffee is perfectly fine, Nutella Latte is tasty, but for its price is small, like average cappuccino rather than latte. You might think that the cost is a bit pricey, but considering included tax and their serving, it is really worth its price. Ambience is nice, the place is clean enough, but is crowded most of the times due to the demand. Toilet is small, but okay. You can order to take away, the serving size and the price of the dish for take out is the same. When you order Gojek, the prices are quite high and serving sizes are smaller, it’s better to order take out. 😉 I am attaching pictures of Dine in and Take out options, as well as their relevant menu. Generally great experience, we love this place and keep coming here. 😊🙏💐 Thank you 🧡 P. S. They have an additional small menu with interesting, unusual Gelato options and a Blend Gelateria next door. 🍨
