Delightful Pancakes
Pretty nice place to try something new. The pancakes are bouncy and fluffy really delightful. You have to wait a bit after ordering and bring your own plates and drinks to your own table.

Description
Nestled in a vibrant corner of the city, this café stands out as a must-visit spot for lovers of fluffy souflé pancakes and a colorful atmosphere. With its modern design resembling popular cafés in Seoul, it invites visitors to indulge in a unique fusion of Korean, Japanese, and Taiwanese culinary traditions. Patrons rave about the extensive variety of pancakes offered, highlighting flavors like Tiramisu and Matcha that have been crafted to perfection. These pancakes are not only aesthetically pleasing but also boast a delightful texture that dances on the palate, making each bite a little piece of heaven.
Diners are also enamored by the café’s inviting interior, which seamlessly combines style and comfort, creating an ideal backdrop for both social gatherings and solo working sessions. Many reviews emphasize the lively atmosphere, perfect for snapping Instagram-worthy photos while enjoying a delicious brunch. Guests appreciate the colorful decor and spacious seating options, which allow both intimate gatherings and larger groups to feel at home. However, it’s suggested to plan your visit during off-peak hours or make reservations, as this spot tends to attract a bustling crowd, especially on sunny weekends.
While the food is a standout feature, the café’s ordering system has received mixed feedback. Guests enjoy the convenience of ordering through an electronic kiosk at their table, although some found it a bit confusing and noted challenges in getting staff attention during peak times. Nevertheless, the welcoming ambiance and the delicious menu offerings, like Korean street-style toast and an array of drinks, compensate for these minor inconveniences. The café’s fluffy pancakes, such as the incredibly soft original butter version, continue to win hearts, and the refreshing taro latte is frequently described as a warm hug in a cup.
Exploring this café means diving into a culinary experience that perfectly blends innovative dishes with traditional influences. If you’re on the hunt for a unique dining experience that caters to laptop users looking for a comfy workspace, this café is guaranteed to inspire productivity while satisfying your taste buds. Expect a little wait for the exceptional dishes, but rest assured that the pancakes, particularly the Nutella and mango options, will make the wait worthwhile. Whether you’re a devoted pancake enthusiast or simply looking for a cozy spot to enjoy your next café excursion, this delightful gem is ready to welcome you with open arms and delicious creations.
Highlights
- Scrumptious Soufflé: Must, must, must try place for Japanese Soufflé. Plan your next brunch here if not visited yet. What fluffy, moist, scrumptious soufflé. Absolutely in love with this place. Service is bit slow but nothing which is new about any great brunch places in Netherlands. Atmosphere is very lively, colorful and perfect for insta material. Expect some wait time during peak brunch hours, especially on weekends and on nice sunny days.
- Fluffy Delicious Pancakes: Amazing souffle pancake Café, one of the best places to visit for sure in Rotterdam! The pancakes are so fluffy and delicious, not too sweet which is just perfect! The egg toasts are also so delicious and big enough to let you feel full for the rest of the day. All the staff are so friendly and sweet, can’t imagine how fun must be to work in such a cute and pretty place. The space is huge and so many tables to choose, we sit in this big table inside, played monopoly and had our own privacy which is very nice as well! Will visit again and recommend to my friends!
- Hit or Miss: Given the hype and how hard it is to get a table there, I was expecting more. The Tiramisu pancake was actually good, I definitely recommend it! However, the Creme Brulee pancake had a strong egg taste that could not be ignored even with the sweet toppings. The place is cute, the tables in the back are cozy and the food looks nice so I would recommend stopping by if it’s not crowded (in the weekdays), but the pancakes taste was not impressive for me to think waiting for a table or reserving in advance is worth it.
- Fluffy Pancakes: Super fluffy pancakes. The chocolate doesn’t have an intense flavor, it tastes watered down but the pancakes were tasty. There is no table service but the staff is pleasant. I recommend making reservations because it is usually very busy. High prices.
