Wonderful Atmosphere with a French Flair
This cafe has a wonderful atmosphere with a French flair. The staff was happy and very nice! The pastries and quiche were delicious. For a quick meal or snack, I recommend a visit. We visited the cafe twice in one day. We sat on the covered porch on the lounge chairs. It was a lovely time. Go visit!

Highlights
- Unexpectedly Delicious Food with Reasonable Prices: Was not impressed about the price for anything at Bahamas, but, the food from this restaurant was totally unexpected! Price was super reasonable for what you get. Dined in for Smoke Salmon Bagel as brunch, I had zero expectation but this turned out so great taste-wise!!! Although the bagel was a bit too firm to cut, could use a steak knife to make it easier, unless you hit it like a burger). But taste was undoubtedly great, the portion of smoked salmon was generous. Then I packed 3 desserts fly back home to Canada, just had it this morning, holy moly they were delicious!!! Wish I purchased more! Highly recommended.
- Delicious Breakfast Options, Except for Avocado Toast: Just grabbed a bite to eat for breakfast and almost everything was delicious! Croissants and bagels were delicious! Wouldn’t recommend the avocado toast! The avocado is not fresh and has that liquidy consistency and chemical taste. Other than that everything was great!
- Middling Appeal but Nice Seating Options: As is becoming the theme for all things Baha Mar, it’s a pairing of lavish decor, high-priced conventional items with middling appeal, and well-intentioned but inconsistent service. The cafe looks nice and the choice of in- and outdoor seating is a plus.
- Stupidly High Prices and Relaxed Service: That is about where benefits end. The prices are stupidly high - in line with the overpriced resort around, but that will not console your wallet. A cup of pre-brewed coffee, nothing to talk about, from a thermos, is $6, the large one is $8.50. The service is relaxed to a point of being aloof. With people waiting and one cashier very leisurely discussing the weather with a customer, the other three (!) staff casually chat for five minutes (timed) on the kitchen threshold instead of taking care of other customers on two other registers. And the cost is… drumroll… $26.-! Bad food, bad service, bad price. To be honest, that reflected the rest of the experience in the resort. Beware.
